WELCOME

The year is half over and it’s almost the Fourth of July. Time sure flies when you’re having fun.

I had a blast at the Lori Foster Reader Writer Get Together. It was so fun to meet all the readers as well as the authors who attended. I can still act like a fan when I meet one of my favorite authors. The book signing was the best and I must say I enjoyed being able to autograph individual messages to each reader. I’m already looking forward to next year.

The rest of the year is just around the corner and there are a lot of books imminent. Check out the coming soon section because I have some cool new announcements. Hope you are looking forward to some brand new stories.

~Liz

Erin Riley receives a “Dear Jane” letter just days before her fiancé is due home after two years away on military leave. Angry at first, she convinces herself it must be because she was overweight while he’s become a honed military hunk. Determined to convince him he’s just forgotten what he was missing on the home front, she screws up her courage and sets out to seduce him despite her own misgivings about her figure. But she’s surprised to discover Patrick is a changed man. No longer her loving high school sweetheart, he’s harder and she discovers he has a dark side. Although he succumbs to her lush charms, he remains adamant their engagement should remain broken. Fortunately, Erin isn’t someone who gives up easily.

Patrick O’Rourke has seen a lot during his two years away. After a tragic incident, he’s convinced he’s no good for anyone, especially his innocent young fiancé. He’s not the same man he was two years ago and he doesn’t want to defile Erin with his needs and desires. But from the moment he walks in the door, she makes it perfectly clear she’s not going anywhere and she’s unwilling to surrender without a fight. He tries to scare her away, allowing the dark side of his personality to take over. Instead of running away however, Erin embraces the experiences he offers.

Patrick needs to remain immune to Erin’s charms in order to convince her they’re through. But Erin must face her own insecurities in order to heal his wounded heart, if only he’ll give her the chance.

The Sweetest Taboo

Author: Liz Andrews and Lena Matthews
Cover Artist: Scott Carpenter Price: $5.99

No good deed goes unpunished and no one knows that better than Cory Turner. While minding her own business in her backyard, she’s invaded by a lost child who can’t find his way home. Cory decides to help, much to the chagrin of her sister. But when she returns him to his oh so attractive father, she’s practically accused of kidnapping the child.

Elias Kohler couldn’t have found a worst way to handle his first meeting with his attractive new neighbor. She rescues his lost son, but instead of thanking her he insults her. The last thing he wants to do is bother her again, but it doesn’t mean he can stop thinking about her. And if only he could keep his son away from Cory’s yard, everything would be fine, but things don’t always go according to plan.

No matter how much they both vow to stay away, fate and circumstance throw them together time and again. But despite both their doubts and misgivings, Elias and Cory are inexplicably drawn to one another, in the bedroom and out.

Cory never expected to find her prince charming in a man with so much baggage, but when his ex-wife decides to do battle, Cory steps up to the plate and fights for the man and the family she has fallen in love with.

Their relationship might still be considered taboo, but it’s the sweetest kind.

Publisher's Note: This book contains explicit sexual content, graphic language, and situations that some readers may find objectionable: light bondage.

NEWS

We have a release date for Shadow of Moonlight, September 12, 2007 from Ellora’s Cave.

I have contracted my Halloween story, Hankie Pankie, with Ellora’s Cave for their Tricks and Treats series. The story is a BDSM themed story about a couple who spend tHalloween at a fetish club that leads to an evening of discovery.

Lena and I have also contracted Cory’s sister Nichelle’s story, Body and Soul, with Loose Id. This story is about the man who got away. No release date as of yet, but we hope to have the story completed by the end of the month.

RECOMMENDED READS

I wasn’t sure if I was going to like this book, but wow, did it win me over.  I especially loved how the author showed the development of their relationship both as young adults and then later in life when they reunite.  And the BDSM elements weren’t too bad either, LOL.

Sitting down abruptly, Patrick took off his boots and socks and pulled his tee shirt off over his head. He was worn out. Sleep had been elusive in the last couple of months and he often had to drive himself to exhaustion to get just a few hours. He was ready to fall into bed and forget the last two days. Forget the sight of Erin lying on this couch, waiting to welcome him home. And forget the sight of pain in her eyes when he told her goodbye.

Patrick stood and walked toward the bedroom, telling himself he only wanted to check on her well-being. He stopped for a moment at the door. Allowing his eyes to adjust to the darkness, he had no trouble seeing Erin curled up asleep in his bed. She’d kicked the covers off and the short nightgown she had on last night was rucked up her legs, exposing her full pale hips to his hot gaze. The tiny matching string bikini she wore barely covered her. Her hands were tucked under her head and with the moon shining into the room he was sure he saw the tracks of tears dried on her face.

Just as he was telling himself to do the right thing and leave her alone, Erin turned onto her back. The material of her nightgown strained across her chest, while her bountiful breasts practically spilled out of the confines. She must have sensed his presence in the room, because she blinked and slowly opened her eyes.

It had been two years since they’d been together and real life was better than fantasy any day. His own hand was no substitute for the lusciousness in front of him. He knew what he should do, what he had to do, but his body and heart were telling him something completely different. This was his woman.

“If you don’t get your ass out of my bed in the next twenty seconds you’re going to find yourself fucked and fucked hard.” His cock straining against his zipper was telling him to take what was presented. Patrick was certain she’d run at his threat, but she remained silent, just staring at him while he continued to gaze at the succulent offering in his bed.

Patrick loosened his pants and pushed them down over his hips. He stood naked before her, his cock standing in anticipation. Without a word, Erin opened her arms. He walked over and joined her on the bed.

“This is only sex.” He wanted to push her away but he couldn’t resist the call of her charms.

“Keep telling yourself that.” Erin reached out and grasped his cock, her soft warm hands stroking him.

Patrick groaned at her touch. He had to keep his head, if only for another minute. “You understand it doesn’t change anything, right?”

“Stop talking and come love me.” Erin released his cock and tugged him down to her.
